Welcome to the team!
Obviously you're a person who makes great decisions! You've decided to join Forever Living Products, one of the leading companies in the direct sales industry. In business over 30 years with over 2 Billion dollars in annual sales, FLP is a company you can proudly represent.
Now that you've joined, you may be wondering, what now? What do I do first? And then what? I'll try to answer your questions here. But, if you've read everything here and at the main FLP site and you still have questions, please contact me.
First steps to success.
1. Go to the Forever Living website and sign in with your distributor ID and password. Take your time and explore everything at the site. Become very familiar with the FLP site. Click all the links, view all the videos, read the back issues of the newsletters, and become familiar with the marketing plan. Especially important is the FLP Online Training. It will give you a great foundation on which to build your business.
2. Place your first order. You can save on shipping costs if you go ahead and order some literature at the same time as your product order. You can also set up an "autoship" order if you wish. An autoship is an order that is automatically sent to you every month.
3. Set up your "MyFLP" website. This is the replicated site you'll be using to promote your business. It also features a contact tracker, calendars, and e-cards. MyFLP is your comprehensive back office in addition to being your primary advertising and sales tool. (You can set up your MyFLP site from within the FLP distributor website.)
4. Optional: Order FLP business cards. If you plan to market primarily online, you won't really need cards.
5. Using any domain registrar (such as 1&1 or GoDaddy) register your own domain which you can then point toward your MyFLP website. Your own domain will be easier for your prospects to remember. Mine, for example, is www.healthyaloe.com. It's much shorter than the address assigned by FLP, and it gives me a more professional image.
6. Set aside space in your home for your FLP business office. You need space for your computer, telephone, a few files, and your FLP brochures and related forms.
7. Now, have a grand opening! Tell your friends, family members, and neighbors that you're their preferred source for aloe based nutritional and personal care products. Consider buying FLP samples and giving them to your friends. Make sure you also give them product brochures.
8. Go to the "Resources" page of this website and take action on as many of the resources as you possibly can. The more you do, the more you'll earn!
This ought to keep you busy for quite a while! I'm working on more tips so come back to this page often.
